Location: Columbia, SC

Challenge: The Crumley Archives at the Lutheran Seminary had a problem. They were adding more material to their Archives, and were out of storage space.

Objective: To economically solve the Archives' storage issues within their current location.

Solution: American Specialty devised a way to incorporate existing shelving, along with new shelving, into a new High Density Mobile Storage System. Theresult was an increase of over 50% in their storage capacity in the same space

Client: South Carolina Historical Society
Location: Charleston, SC

Challenge: The South Carolina Historical Society continues to add to its' large collection of documents and artifacts. Space constraints in downtown Charleston limited the ability of the Society to add to its facility. Located in an Historic building, with various rooms with unique dimensions and various ceiling heights, we need to find a way to help them utilize the space more efficiently

Objective: Allow the Historical Society to organize and preserve its' collection in a very confined space.

Solution: American Specialty designed and installed a complicated combination of fixed and High Density Mobile Shelving. Virtually every section was of a different height. The result was that the South Carolina Historical Society now has completely maximized the utilization of the space in their facility. Their records and documents are well organized and easily accessable.

Location: Bluffton, SC

Challenge: Bluffton, SC, is a rapidly growing community near Hilton Head. The Deparment of Health needed additional capacity for Medical Records. In addition, the clinic was moving to a brand new building, so delivery, installation and set up had to be coordinated with the relocation team.

Objective: Maximize the number of filing inches in a confined space, creating enough storage space to accomodate current records and anticipated growth forseveral years.

Solution: American Specialty designed a High Density Mobile Storage solution that was economical and large enough to meet the customers needs. The limited space meant each part had to be precisely designed and installed. We were able to meet all the customer's needs, right down to the desired color, and install the system at the required time in the construction process
